WHO AM I?
Hi! I'm Mert Ozkaya, also known online as "Pizza". I'm a 21 years old artist and student based in Turkey, a comic book artist and aspiring writer. For a while now, I've been sharing my artwork primarily on Twitter (X).In addition to creating and illustrating short comics; I also draw fan arts, crossover pieces, participate in (and sometimes start) art trends, and share my ideas and headcanons about the media I like.A major turning point in my art journey was my short fan-comic "A Letter From: Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man", which received significant attention and support online. Since then, I've continued creating comic related art & short comics. I'm aiming to start my journey toward becoming a professional comic book artist by focusing on cover arts.

I use Clip Studio Paint Pro as my primary drawing software.My cover art (and similar) pieces usually take around 6–8 hours to complete, from sketch to final rendering.

My biggest goal right now is to draw an official cover for one of the major IPs.As for my ultimate dream, if I can one day reach the financial and skill level it requires, I want to bring to life my original post-apocalyptic, semi–sci-fi universe, currently under the codename Hollow Sun, as a passion project comic book.It's a deeply character-focused universe that I’ve been building in my mind and through small sketches and stories for several years. I hope to bring it to life either on my own or with a team that I lead and work closely with.This is not from ego, but from a feeling deep in my heart: I truly believe that people will love and connect with the characters and stories of this universe as passionately as I do.On a more personal note, I'd also love to someday see these stories adapted into an animated series or film.

A Letter From: Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man is the first comic I've ever created. As the title suggests, this comic features Peter Parker, aka Spider-Man as the main character, and revolves around a letter he writes to the reader. I first shared this fan-comic on Twitter back on August 20, 2025, where it was well received and appreciated by many people, including Joe Kelly: an award-winning American comic book writer, artist, and editor.You can easily access and read it from the section below! I like the idea of Spider-Man's thwipping pose having this kind of meaning and I tried to apply this in one of my fan-comics
If Batman switches to a blue batsuit in The Batman 2, I'd love it to be for a reason like this.

Are you currently accepting commissions?
At the moment, I'm not taking any commissions.I was planning to open my commissions on December 15th, but all of the slots got reserved when I announced the date.Right now, there's no certain date when I'll open my commissions again, but stay tuned!
Are the prices final?
The prices you see are not final yet. They are still subject to change. Once commissions officially open, I'll share the confirmed rates.
How does the payment process work?
I request 50% of the agreed price upfront. Throughout the process, I will send you progress images with a watermark to ensure the final piece looks exactly how you want. After finish, you pay the remaining 50% and I deliver the final files.
If you prefer, you're welcome to pay the full amount upfront!
What payment methods do you accept?
Unfortunately, platforms like PayPal are not available in Turkey. So, I accept payments via Buy Me A Coffee's shop system, where I'll create a custom commission listing specifically for you.
When do you plan to open commissions?
I'm planning to open commission slots in December. More details will be announced closer to the date!
